Details

The Stork 1000 UAV is a hardware and software system, an autonomous remote-controlled aerial vehicle for solving tasks of deep aerial reconnaissance, targeting barrage munitions, adjusting artillery fire, patrolling, mapping the area with the ability to transmit operational information in real time mode. The development of this system took into account many years of experience in operating unmanned aerial systems during the military conflict in Ukraine and the requirements for tactical and technical characteristics of military specialists involved in the operation of such equipment.

Much attention is paid to ease of use and safety of operators. The communication between the ground antenna control system and the control station is carried out via wireless communication, which allows operators to be located at a certain distance from the antennas in a shelter. Stork 1000 can stay in the air for up to 8 hours (depending on the selected target payload), and the total length of the route is about 800 km. The range of communication channels is up to 100 km in line of sight and up to 150 km in MESH mode.

These characteristics will allow the operator to conduct deep aerial reconnaissance, adjust long-range artillery systems, guide and objectively control barrage munitions, and conduct long-term monitoring of the current operational situation on the battlefield. The Stork 1000 payload is a modular combined dual-sensor gimbal (day and night sensors), gyroscopically stabilized in two axis, with a 360-degree view in the flight azimuth, technology for capturing and automatically holding objects in the center of the frame (target tracking) combined with a system of additional digital video image stabilization, which allows the operator to effectively monitor the object of interest at a distance of up to 15 km.

Depending on the type of equipment chosen, a high-resolution camera can also be supplied to solve terrain mapping tasks. The MESH network technology allows simultaneous use of several UAVs from one ground control station, which in turn makes it possible to interact with other UAVs, including the kamikaze class, and thus conduct surveillance and perform combat missions in several areas. The ground control station software allows automates the data processing obtained as a result of the flight and has the ability to transmit information in real time mode to automated information processing systems and situational awareness centers.
